Hi, HackTik–

Looks like you moved your menu bar inside the header or you added some plugin for something other than the default Thesis menu bar. At any rate, I think the problem is with the menu bar being inside the header area.

Hi, niraj–

Add something like this to custom.css, changing “green” to whichever color you want to use:

.custom li.widget.widget_text { background-color: green; }

One more thing… Kristarella has an outstanding video on how to use Mozilla Firefox with Firebug to inspect HTML elements and CSS styles to figure out which styles are controlling a particular element. Check it out at http://www.kristarella.com/2009/02/how-to-use-firebug-for-css/

Hi, niraj–

I just rechecked in my custom.css. I’m using the Thesis 1.8 beta, and it works fine in that. You’re using the correct code. Maybe you have something else in your custom.css that’s overriding the .custom li.widget style?
